This decides whether the holder can sign the forms or the legal heirs must claim.

If a claim was rejected or is pending, we can look at where it stands.
Shares and dividends that stay unclaimed for seven years are moved to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). They can usually still be claimed back by the original owner or by the legal heirs through an online claim and a set of supporting documents. We prepare and follow up the claim for you.
A lost, torn or misplaced certificate does not mean the shares are gone. The registrar can usually issue a duplicate against an application, an affidavit and an indemnity (and sometimes a copy of a police complaint, depending on the company). We handle that paperwork.
Shares held as paper certificates generally cannot be sold or transferred until they are converted into electronic (demat) form through a depository participant. We manage the conversion with the registrar and your depository participant.
Unclaimed or forgotten mutual fund units can often be traced through registrar records and the MF Central search tool. Units held by a person who has passed away need a transmission claim by the nominee or legal heirs. We help trace and process the claim.
Matured deposits and inoperative accounts can usually still be claimed from the bank, and the RBI’s UDGAM portal helps you find them. Unclaimed PF balances are claimed through the provident fund office. We help with tracing and claim documents.
That is a common starting point. Old dividend warrants, annual reports, a family member’s papers, a PAN number or even a company name are enough to begin a search. Use the official search tools above, or let us run the trace for you.
The holder can sign the forms and declarations themselves, which usually keeps the process simpler and faster.
The holding first has to be moved to the legal heirs or the nominee (this is called transmission) before it can be recovered. Documents such as the death certificate and, depending on the case, a will, a legal-heir certificate or a succession certificate and consent from other heirs are usually needed. We guide you through this.
We will confirm who the registered holder is while tracing the investment, and tell you exactly which route and documents apply.
An original certificate is a strong starting point. Please keep it safe and do not send it to anyone you have not verified.
A copy, folio number, old statement or passbook is usually enough to begin tracing the holding with the registrar.
Even a company name and a few personal details can be enough to start a search. The registrar can usually search using the holder’s name, PAN or address.
It can still be worth checking. We can search using the holder’s PAN, name and family records. It may take longer, and we will tell you honestly what looks possible.
A photocopy, folio number, old statement or dividend warrant is usually enough to trace your folio with the registrar, which is the first step towards a duplicate certificate.
A company name and a few personal details can be enough for the registrar to search for your folio.
It can still be worth checking. We can search using the holder’s PAN, name and family records, and tell you honestly what looks possible.
A folio number, account statement or consolidated account statement (CAS) lets the fund house or registrar confirm the units quickly.
The fund house name together with the holder’s PAN or name is often enough for the registrar to search for folios.
It can still be worth checking. A PAN-based search through MF Central or the registrars may reveal folios, and we can help with it.
An FD receipt, passbook, account number or UAN / PF number is a good starting point. It helps the bank or the provident fund office confirm the balance and the claim route.
The bank or employer name with the holder’s details is often enough to begin tracing, and we can help confirm the balance and the claim route.
It can still be worth checking. Old salary slips, passbooks or a family member’s papers often give clues, and we can help trace the account.
Starting fresh means we can plan the right route and prepare the documents correctly the first time.
Please keep any rejection letter or email. Claims are often held up by mismatched names or signatures, or by missing documents, and we can review what went wrong and how to fix it.
We can review the status with you and help follow up with the concerned company, registrar, fund house, bank or office.
This is a general indication based only on your four answers. It is not legal or financial advice and not a guarantee of recovery — every case is assessed on its own documents and facts, and outcomes depend on companies, registrars and authorities.

From the first search to the final credit in your demat or bank account — we manage the registrar, the RTA, and the regulatory filings on your behalf.
We trace shares and securities that have fallen off a family's radar — old folios, renamed companies, merged entities.
We manage the full dematerialisation process with your depository participant and the company's registrar, end to end.

When a holder has passed away, we handle the legal-heir transmission process so the family doesn't have to navigate it alone.

We file and follow through on claims for shares and dividends transferred to the IEPF authority, including all supporting documentation.

The Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) is where the government moves shares and dividends that have gone unclaimed for seven years. Once transferred, they can only be recovered by filing a specific claim with the IEPF authority — which is a large part of what we handle.
Yes. A lost or damaged certificate isn't the end of the road — we manage the indemnity, affidavit, and reissue process with the registrar to get a duplicate certificate issued, so the holding can then be transferred or converted to demat.
Transmission is the legal process of moving a holding into the names of legal heirs after the original shareholder has passed away. It's separate from a regular transfer, and needs its own set of documents — which we prepare and file on your behalf.
We assist with obtaining the legal heir or succession certificate needed to establish entitlement, and guide you through what's required based on whether there's a will, multiple heirs, or no prior documentation at all.
Dematerialisation converts physical share certificates into electronic form held in a demat account. Shares still on paper can no longer be sold or transferred until they're converted — we manage this end to end with your depository participant.
It depends on the case — straightforward demat conversions move faster than IEPF claims or transmission cases involving multiple legal heirs. We'll give you a realistic timeline after the initial evaluation.
Whatever you have is a starting point — an original share certificate, a folio number, a passbook entry, or even just the name of the company and the holder. We'll tell you exactly what's needed once we've evaluated the case.
We start with a case evaluation, and our recovery fee is linked to the value actually recovered — explained clearly before we take on your case. No hidden charges.
Let us help you identify your unclaimed shares and understand the right path to recovery.
